Can Anyone Tell Me Which Guest House/ Hostel / Budget Hotel Is The Best To Stay In Hong Kong?
Author: HKSZ // Category: HotelI read lots of bad reviews about those in Chung King Mansion and also Mirador Mansion. Any other nicer budget places that are near mrt, clean and safe?

The Chungking and Mirador are the best dives in town. And they are legendary!
There are literally hundreds of guesthouses to choose from in those buildings; it’s not all one company. Each floor has its own unique flavor, hygiene, etc. And you can choose between a dorm or a private room. You need to just hit every floor and check them all out for yourself.
I lived in the Chungking for a month without a hitch. And I stayed in the Mirador for a week as well, also no problem.
One fact is undisputed: you will not find anything cheaper or more convenient than either of these two establishments.

Accommodation in Hong Kong is generally more expensive than most of other Chinese cities. Most of the cheap lodgings are located in remote areas of New Territories.
